Dr. Andrew Rosen earned his Ph.D. In Clinical Psychology in 1975 at Hofstra University, in New York. He then went on for six years of intensive study of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy at the Gordon Derner Institute of Adelphi University in New York. He earned is Diplomate in Clinical Psychology from the American Board of Clinical Psychology in 1983 and subsequently was elected Fellow of the American Board of Clinical Psychology. He is a Member of the American Psychological Association, Florida Psychological Association, National Register for Health Service Providers in Psychology, American Board of Clinical Psychology, Anxiety Disorders Association of America, and the Adelphi Society for Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy.

Dr. Rosen served as Clinical Director of the Woodward Mental Health Center,in New York, a specialized and intensive treatment program for severely emotionally disturbed children and adolescents during the late 1970's. He was also Consulting Psychologist tothe Federal Aviation Administration during this period of time as well as Adjunct Instructor of Psychology at Hofstra University and Adelphi University. In 1984 Dr. Rosen moved to South Florida and went into independent practice and became Associate Instructor at the Postdoctoral Program in Psychoanalysis at Nova University. Dr. Rosen has authored professional articles in textbooks and journals and has lectured at manynational conferences and workshops related to anxiety and addiction disorders. In addition, he has appeared on many television and radio programs teaching about theseand other clinical areas. Dr. Rosen has been Past President of the Palm Beach Psychological Society and was Local Chair of the Anxiety Disorders Association of America at its' Orlando Conference. In addition, he has served on the Anxiety Disorders Association's 2008 Focus Group.

Dr. Rosen's extensive training and interest in psychoanalysis and cognitive therapy inthe understanding and treatment of anxiety and addiction disorders has in recent yearsevolved into the study of the application of PhotoTherapy and its' usefulness in the treatment of these stress related disorders. According to Dr. Rosen, "stress in the 21st Century has intensi.ed exponentially, and the .elds of Psychiatry and Psychology have to be mindful of exploring new models in treating stress disorders." Dr. Rosen's favorite quote is "Know all theories, love a few, and wed none". It is with this in mind that he and Dr. David Gross and Dr. Daniel Wasserman are developing treatment models for stress related disorders using PhotoTherapy.
